Regeneration of Valuable Armenian Landraces of Tomato and Development of Effective Methods of their Cultivation Management through Application of Modern Technologies
The effective management of cultivation technologies of tomato landraces of Armenian origin has contributed to increase of productivity and improvement of quality characteristics.
PROCESSING OF COMPLEX MEASURES FOR OBTAINING ORGANIC SEEDS OF VEGETABLE CROPS (TOMATO, SWEET PEPPER AND CUCUMBER)
The different means allowable in organic agriculture were tested and introduced for producing ecologically clean, high-value, competitive organic seeds of local varieties of main vegetable crops in open and protected ground conditions.

The production of high-demand super-elite and elite seeds of released local varieties and hybrids of tomato, pepper, eggplant and cucumber was organized.

The valuable vegetable and industrial crops accessions of Armenian origin will be regenerated and multiplicated, duplicate accessions will be sent to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault for safety duplication.

To promote the development of green agriculture in the Republic the new technologies based on the use of green manure plants and biological fertilizers are being studied and developed.
