Consulting Services

The Scientific Center provides consulting services on the cultivation of vegetable crops, namely:

• varietal characteristics of local and imported varieties,
• proper choose of varieties according to agro-climatic zones of the Republic,
• cultivation technologies under the closed and open field conditions,
• technologies for applying new organic and mineral fertilizers: determination of exact dates and rates,
• application of plant protection measures: proper determination of usage periods and rates,
• science based methodology for obtaining first reproduction seeds (for specialized seed producing farms).

In the Laboratory of Plant Biotechnology, Phytopathology and Biochemistry of the Scientific Center, diagnosis of diseases of vegetable crops, detailed analyzes of fertilizers, soil, water, as well as analyzes of hydroponic solutions and drainage water are carried out using modern high-precision equipment in accordance with ISO standards.
