Regeneration of Valuable Armenian Landraces of Tomato and Development of Effective Methods of their Cultivation Management through Application of Modern Technologies

The effective management of cultivation technologies of tomato landraces of Armenian origin has contributed to increase of productivity and improvement of quality characteristics.

The different means allowable in organic agriculture were tested and introduced for producing ecologically clean, high-value, competitive organic seeds of local varieties of main vegetable crops in open and protected ground conditions.

The valuable vegetable and industrial crops accessions of Armenian origin will be regenerated and multiplicated, duplicate accessions will be sent to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault for safety duplication.

Testing green manure plants and biological fertilizers, evaluation of effectiveness of their application for promoting green agriculture in Armenia
