New varieties have been registered
The breeders of the Scientific Center have developed 5 new varieties of vegetable crops, which have already passed the state variety test and were registered in the state registry of breeding achievements. Newly released varieties include:
- "Saten" variety of pumpkin, which is distinguished by the yellow color of the fruit and relatively high yield;
- "Al tsaghik" variety of hot pepper, which is distinguished by its unique flower-like fruit shape;
- "Marjan" variety of hot pepper, which is characterized by the formation of multi-colored fruits on one plant;
- "Spung" variety of eggplant, which is distinguished by spongy fruits and relatively high productivity;
- "Munushakaguyn teghakan" variety of basil, which is endowed with high taste characteristics and resistance to pests and diseases.
